QME report summary
“What did the QME give for the low back?” should take eight seconds, not a search through a 60-page report. Voxium Legal reads every QME, AME and PR-4 in the file and produces a summary by body part — MMI, WPI, apportionment with the doctor’s reasoning, work restrictions, future medical, records reviewed — each finding cited to the page it came from.
What the summary covers
- Evaluator and role — QME, AME, PQME, treating physician; date of evaluation and report date.
- Body parts and, for each: diagnosis, MMI / P&S status and date, WPI with the method the doctor used and any add-ons the report states.
- Apportionment — the percentage and the stated basis, so a bare number without “how and why” stands out.
- Work restrictions and future medical, as stated.
- Records reviewed — what the doctor says they read, which you can compare against what’s actually in the file.
- Defect flags — where the report is missing something LC 4628 or the rating needs, the summary says so plainly.
The case grid: every report on one table
Where there are several reports — two QMEs, an AME, three PR-4s — the grid puts them side by side: doctor, date, body parts, MMI, WPI, apportionment, restrictions. Each cell is cited, and the system re-reads the cited page to confirm the number: ✓ where it matched, ? where you should look. Export to Excel or a landscape Word table for the file.
Ask the report a question
“Did the QME review the 2023 MRI?” “What did Dr. Lee say about the cervical spine?” “Which reports mention CRPS?” Answers come from your file with the page, and when something isn’t there the answer is “not in file” — not a guess.
From summary to draft
One click runs an objection letter to the report, a deposition outline for the evaluator, or a rating-inputs worksheet for your rater, all cited, in Word, on your letterhead. The rating itself is left to the rater on purpose.
